Android app built for a company in Gainesville, Florida for a company called Gift Certificates & More (GCM). Users of the app can browse a catalog of gift certificates and coupons for local businesses. These deals can be redeemed on-site by using special codes from the app.

The GCM app utilizes a web service backend to aggregate all of the available deals for a logged user. Users login via Basic HTML authentication.

WubDub Dubstep Generator

Android app which allows the user to play a soundboard of dubstep inspired sounds. The user can choose from 3 different soundboards, each of which offers 6 sounds and a beat loop.

WubDub was built using Adobe AIR technology and is currently available for purchase on the Google Play market.

Loop'N'Go Drum Machine

Android app which allows the user to compose drum loops and play them back. Loop'N'Go offers 6 banks of compositions with 4 preset instruments in each.

Beautiful Feet International Website

Beautiful Feet International (BFI) is a non-profit missionary organization which routinely takes trips to impoverished nations. BFI has helped construct housingand perform medical eye examinations in countries including Costa Rica, Haiti, and areas of Africa.

I developed the BFI website from scratch, going from design to deployment. The website is primarily a composition of HTML and CSS complimented by a small amount of JavaScript and PHP.
VISIT

Dropbeat

Android app which vibrates at certain intervals to help beginning dance students recognize the beats of a song. The app can respond to any selection of beats 1 through 8. Dropbeat was constructed over the course of a 54 hour event called Startup Weekend.

The Dropbeat Android app connects to a server and that server tells the app when a given beat occurs. This client-server architecture allows a group of students to synchronize on a given song.
TxtTag Hackathon

Android app which sits atop the TxtTag service to allow a user to send messages to other users based on their license plate number, as well as allow a user to receive messages sent to his/her license plate number. The app is primarily a UI sitting on top of a provided web service.

The TxtTag Hackathon App was built during a 22 hour hackathon event. The purpose of the event was to develop an effective UI for the existing TxtTag web service. This app was voted the best Android entry.

ParkSmooth

ParkSmooth was a company I started, aimed at providing online parking reservations; In this vein, ParkSmooth was like a cross between eBay and airBnB for event parking. During the company's short existence, I developed our corporate homepage (shown above), designed visual themes for 3 independent platforms (game day parking, school parking, and nightlife parking), and we collectively constructed functional CakePHP systems for both game day parking and nightlife parking.

Unfortunately, our value proposition was not as strong in the local community as we initially believed it to be. As a result we had to shut ParkSmooth down due to lack of revenues.

Big Rig Logs

Big Rig Logs is a platform I am currently working on. In its first iteration, Big Rig Logs will constitute an Android, tablet-based app for commercial truck drivers. Drivers will be able to enter DOT log information to avoid large stacks of paper. Additionally, electronic logs will facilitate easier transfer of logs to fleet HQs.
